Anna Leddra Chapman
Having grown up with bands rehearsing in her home, guitars, keyboards and pieces of music kit in every corner, it’s not surprising that Anna picked up her first guitar attwelve and started writing songs. She now plays piano and keyboards and has assisted in producing her own music in her home studio. Oh and mustn’t forget to mention she is also a classically trained flautist!

With the most beautiful, pure and unique voice, it wasn’t long before she was being asked to play venues all over the country. Anna set up her own website and Myspace site and uploaded the songs she had recorded onto the two promotional platforms.

Those early songs, recorded on basic equipment at home, became the songs that started to garner more and more interest from key people in the music industry and soon after Anna was invited to play Britain’s premier new music showcase:Manchester’s ‘In The City’ Music Conference.
Anna played a stormingthirty minute set to a packed out crowd at the Warchild Acoustic Showcase and following that was chosen as a ‘Best of ITC’ in Music Week who described her as "Filling a similar space to early Alanis and Joni Mitchell".

With soulful and honest lyrics that come straight from the heart, Anna is truly one of the most gifted young songwriters in Britain today. She is now developing her own unique sound and working with an impressive list of producers and songwriters including Steve Robson, Peter Vetesse, Chris Braide, on yet more material. Annabecame a European Ambassador for Quicksilver in 2008 and is busy writing and producing new material whilst also continuing her academic study of music with the London College of Music.
Life for Anna continues to get busier and busier and she’s loving every minute of it!
