Ambient Trip-Hop, the newest addition to CUE
was composed by Joseph Bell using a subtle
blend of acoustic instruments, live recordings,
high quality samples and synths. Composing
under this eclectic style Joseph is able to
demonstrate a broad and diverse approach to
composition of original music.

Joseph Bell grew up in Brighton in an artistic
house hold which allowed him to develop
musically from a very young age. As well as
being a natural, improvisational pianist he is also
classically trained. He has written, recorded and
performed in different sections of the music
industry for over 7 years and has had work
performed in the West End, published and
broadcast on BBC radio 4 and commissioned
by The Guardian, Hoover, the fashion label
Lungta De Fancy and most recently the heavy
metal opera 'Charlemagne: By The Sword And
Cross', starring Sir Christopher Lee.

He has performed as a pianist and DJ in London
Brighton and Oxford and has experience as a
session pianist and band member in groups that
range in style from funk to cinematic ambience.
He holds an honours degree in music from
Oxford Brookes University.
